The Black & White

Jessie Solomon

Grade: 11

Interests: Volleyball, Key Club, Big/Little Mentors, and Navigators

Why did you join the Black & White?  Before I even came to Whitman, I had heard about the Black & White through my dad, who was a managing editor when he went to Whitman. A majority of my family is also apart of the journalist community, and I’ve always loved writing.

Why are you well suited to write/edit for your section or to perform your job? I have loved sports in general since a very young age. Since I was in elementary school, I have been exposed to countless sports, and I am very familiar with almost all of them. Covering any sport always keeps you on your toes and is always entertaining to watch.
