Co-ed volleyball falls to B–CC 3–1

By Ally Navarrete

The co-ed volleyball team (3–3) fell to the B–CC Barons 3–1 Friday.

The talented Barons squad won the first two sets, taking advantage of the Vikes’ struggle to cover their tips and blocks. In the third set, the Vikes came back and strengthened their serving and hitting to improve on offense. Outside hitter Lauren Oppenheim had strong hits to help the Vikes ultimately win the set.

In the fourth set, the Barons defeated the Vikes to ultimately win the game. Even though the team lost, they were only the second team win a set on the Barons so far this season.

The Vikes next face the Walter Johnson Wildcats Monday at 7 at home.
