The boys lacrosse team (3–1) beat the Walter Johnson Wildcats (1–2) 8–4 Friday night.
The team dominated the Wildcats in the first half both offensively and defensively. The Vikes only gave up one goal in the first half and scored four, taking a 4–1 lead into halftime.
The Wildcats tried to mount a comeback in the second half, but the Vikes defense prevailed and the offense scored four more goals to win 8–4.
Attacker Lucas Hilsenrath led the team in scoring with two goals.
The team next plays Monday against defending state finalist Churchill Bulldogs (2–0) at 7:15 at Churchill High School.
