The softball team (7–10) tied up the game 3–3 against the Churchill Bulldogs (10–7) in the second round of playoffs Monday before the game was called short due to inclement weather.

The Vikes quickly grabbed the lead early in the game, but the Bulldogs matched their runs in the second inning. The squad shifted their focus to the outfield and concentrated on their defensive plays to prevent the Bulldogs from scoring any more runs.

The game will resume Tuesday at 4pm at Churchill.
