The Critics and Awards program awarded the “Amadeus” cast 10 Cappies nominations for sound, lighting, make up, creativity, ensemble in a play, female vocalist, supporting actor, lead actor and best play.

“I’m really proud of everyone,” cast member Andrew Dahreddine said. “I’m sure we’ll do really well at the Kennedy Center.”

The high number of nominations met the cast’s high expectations for success. Director Christopher Gerken hopes to win multiple awards during the Cappies Gala at the Kennedy Center June 13.
