Varsity baseball defeated the top seeded Wootton Patriots 6-3, May 18, advancing to the regional semifinals.
The Vikings fell behind early 1-0 in the first inning, but tied the game after the Wootton shortstop committed an error.
The Vikes took the lead for good with a four-run third inning. The team tacked on an additional run in the fourth inning before the game ended.

The boys will play Gaithersburg, who they defeated 4-3 earlier in the season, on May 19 at home.
