After reading a single article on Buzzfeed, you probably will agree that random information is always better when it is presented in list form, accompanied by a perfectly accurate gif. Buzzfeed, a website and app filled with lists, videos and quizzes on any topic imaginable, has recently become very popular, with lists being shared across many social media platforms. Here are a few reasons you’ll know that Buzzfeed lists have taken over your life:
1. You have recently made 27 delicious peanut butter desserts, but you will only eat the sandwiches that best match your personality.
2. You expect everything you say to be accompanied by a funny gif of Amy Poehler or a sloth.
3. You haven’t been watching the Olympics, but you can name the athletes with the most outrageous outfits.
4. You are part of an elite group that can read your cat’s mind, and you can name at least 30 of their most common thoughts.
5. No matter what movie you are watching, you can name at least 15 hidden jokes and eight mistakes about which most people don’t know.
6. If you ever want to start a new hobby, you will be able to justify it with a list of nine Hollywood celebrities who also participate.
7. You have a much better understanding of hypotheticals after reading about what would happen if Michelle Tanner never existed or you became President.
8. You are pretty confident you could win Jeopardy with the amount of random knowledge you have picked up from the hours you spend reading lists.
9. Your future success will be defined by how many times a photo of you ends up on Buzzfeed.
10. You will most definitely go on Buzzfeed and read a few (or more) lists immediately after reading this in order to procrastinate from doing the rest of your homework.
