Varsity girls basketball deafeated the Magruder Colonels March 1, starting the playoffs season strong.
The girls immediately took the lead and never looked back. By half time they were leading 47-13, and they ended up winning 83-25. A strong defensive showing from the Vikes did not let up a single point in the third quarter until the final minute.
The Vikes closed the third quarter at 71-18, well over tripling the Colonel’s score. With an amazing start to the playoffs, the Vikings go on to play the Churchill Bulldogs, Wednesday March 3, hosting at Walter Johnson High School.
