Varsity hockey defeated the Wootton Patriots 6-2 in their biggest game of the season thus far, putting them at the top of their division.

Varsity boys basketball lost to the Richard Montgomery Rockets (11-2) 72-65 in a close game after winning by one point in overtime their last meeting. The boys are now 9-4 on the season. The girls, on the other hand, beat the Rockets 61-50, and are now 10-3.

The girls went in confidently against the 4-9 Rockets, who eventually displayed Whitman’s weaknesses when they closed a huge gap to just two points in the beginning of the fourth.

Guards Susan Russel and Caroline Kahlenberg led the girls with a game-high 20 points and eight assists, respectively.
