Varsity boys basketball deafeated the Walter Johnson Wildcats Dec 7, improving to 6-1.
The boys won by a season high point margin of 33, 76-43. The score was relatively close the first half, but the Vikes dominated the second, allowing very few baskets against them. Senior Demetrius Cook helped the Vikes establish a considerable lead, along with senior Ross Koehn who scored 14 points. Captain Charlie Waugh, scored 14 points. Juniors James Dionne and Connor Vergara got a chance to play in the fourth, Dionne scoring eight points, sinking two three pointers and Vergara with two assists.
This game was a makeup that was originally scheduled for Dec 22 but snowed out. The boys play at B-CC tomorrow, Jan 8, at 7:00.
