One hundred and forty pound Will Bouten defeated his Bulldog opponent en route to a Viking win over Churchill. The Wrestling team defeated the Churchill Bulldogs, Dec 16, moving their record to 2-0 for the season.

The meet began rocky for the Vikes when 103-pounder Jacob Rosenblum was pinned in just one minute, fourteen seconds. But, the Vikes followed up with eight straight wins including four major decision wins and two pins. At this point, the Vikes led 31-6 and never turned back.

The Bulldogs refused to give in, winning against 160 pounder Alex Hysong and 171 pounder Tommy Oudinot.

After the brief slip up, the Vikes dominated the last three matches with pins from 189 pounder Taylor Leighton, 210 pounder Danny Lee and heavyweight Ned Daryoush.
