Boys basketball falls to 1-1

Varsity boys basketball suffered a 65-60 loss to the Paint Branch Panthers, Dec. 8, falling to 1-1 on the season.

The Vikes allowed the Panthers numerous second chances and failed to capitalize on scoring opportunities.

With very few rebounds, the boys allowed 65 points, ending with a late turnover securing the game for Paint Branch.  The Vikes were up 1 point with a minute left when the Panthers came back, making a three-pointer and two free-throws to finish off the game.

Forward Charlie Waugh is the leading scorer for the Vikes with 38 points on the season, 24 against the Panthers.

The boys face rival Bullis Bulldogs at home this Friday, Dec 11.
