The boys tennis team ended its regular season with a 5-2 victory over the Blair Blazers on April 29, improving its record to 5-7.
“The match went really well for everyone,” singles player Sam Woodbury said. “Everyone played hard and no one gave up. We’ve had a lot of ups and downs this year, and it was really big for everyone to step up and finish the regular season strong. Now we’re just going to look to take that momentum into the county and state tournaments.”
Starters Aries Wong, Lucas Schoch, Sean Ngo, Joe Davis, Jacob Pine, Adam Schefkind, Milan Dhar, Josh Lederman, Joey Gumataotao and Simon Amat will all compete in the county tournament, with dates to follow.
