The football team (5–3) trounced the Walter Johnson Wildcats (3–5) Friday, scoring 34 points en route to a 34–7 victory.

The Vikings scored at least one touchdown in each quarter of the game and held the Wildcats scoreless until the fourth quarter. Offensively, the Vikes were led by quarterback Matt Clayton and wide receiver Carter Hughes, who connected for two scores. Running back Gunnar Morton also ran for 200 yards and two touchdowns. Linebacker Bruno Vipulis and cornerback Jack McClelland each contributed an interception to the defensive effort.

Following this triumph, the Vikings return home this Friday for a matchup with the Quince Orchard Cougars (7–1).
