Boys soccer

The boys soccer team (11–2) beat one of the country’s top ranked teams, the St. Benedict Gray Bees, 4–1 after a second half explosion.

The squad finished the first half down 1–0 but rallied in the second half scoring four goals to put the Gray Bees away.

The Gray Bees have been seeded first in the country multiple times the past five years and the convincing victory should help mentally prepare the Vikes for the playoffs.

The team’s next game is Tuesday against Northwest.
