The Vikings started out strong and scored a touchdown on their opening drive. The Jaguars controlled the game from that point on and kept Whitman scoreless until the fourth quarter, when the game was already out of reach.

Quarterback Matt Clayton and wide receiver Jack McClelland both threw for over 100 yards on the day and wide receiver Carter Hughes hauled in three receptions for 83 yards. Defensive back Owen Roegge led the defense with 13 tackles.

The Vikings go back on the road this Friday to face the Churchill Bulldogs (0–4).

Girls tennis

The girls tennis team overtook the Gaithersburg Trojans 7–0 Saturday, keeping up their nine game winning streak.

The D1 squad had a great game against their D3 opponents, winning a majority of their matches with perfect 6–0, 6–0 sets.

Next, they take on their long time rivals Churchill Bulldogs at Churchill on Tuesday.
